A beta version or beta release usually represents the first version of a computer program that implements all required features although additional features may be added. It is likely to be unstable but useful for internal demonstrations and previews to select customers, but not yet ready for release.

BaseCamp

BaseCamp (alpha preview)
Basecamp is a simple client server application that is useful if you have a network between two
or more computers and you want to run some basic commands on another computer on the network.
BaseCamp can:
  • send pop-up messgaes / message boxes from the client to the server
  • execute shell commands and report back the result to the client
  • send vital stats of the server to the client every 500ms, stats such as CPU,HDD,RAM usage and also mouse cordinates, useful too estimate if the server is in use
  • there exsists a chat capability between the client and server
  • the client can shutdown, restart, suspend, and hibernate the server

This is a very initial alpha preview, the final will contan features that scan a particular port on every IP on the network (in order to determine a PC which has the server module running) and connect to it, it will have the capability of send keystrokes or moue events to be applied on the server, and ofcourse cooler graphics

;-)

WARNING:The following software is classified as alphaware, use it at your own risk.

UPDATE: a semi-stable release is downloadable, test it out mate's and suggest additions/mods.
